You picked the wrong board to post on - this would probably be better in the pregnancy board.

They can't tell the baby's sex until around 16 weeks (and they can't tell the gender at all) so that's why they "wouldn't" tell you - the couldn't because they didn't know!

I believe there is a "nub" theory that people use on 12 week scans - maybe report your post and ask for it to me moved to Pregnancy and see if anyone there can have a guess.

Just remember, it's a 50/50 guess at this stage!
