I've got terminal cancer and we're looking for an Airbnb or cottage that will sleep 12 people for a last hurrah. In September

We're all in the northwest and would like to go to the north east or Scotland for a long weekend or a week.

Sleeps 12, 2 of which are children and siblings, everyone apart from the family of 4 are in couples.

Please help me!

Hello 👋🏻 sorry to hear of your situation & love the idea of Christmas in Sept.

I recently stayed at a make 2nds count cancer retreat at Blairmore Farm situated between Perth & Crieff - and the accommodation was super.

Ard View cottage was massive and so beautifully equipped.

Wishing you the very best of times x

If you want to go to the very top of Scotland, there are luxury lodges in John O'Groats. They have 3 double/twin bedrooms with an en-suite and an additional bathroom. They are beautifully presented and well-equipped with gorgeous sea views, wood burners, utility rooms. Lovely open plan living and dining.

You'd have to book 2 lodges - with the family of 4 + 1 couple in one and the 3 couples in the other, but they are close together, so dining, etc together as a group would be easy. (you can request 2 lodges side by side (ask for front line).

Pay the extra for the 3 bed sea-view lodges, as the views are spectacular with Orkney Isles in the distance. Loads of northern lights (not guaranteed, but you never know!), clear, fresh air and September is a decent month to visit - beautiful sunsets!
