Nursery recommendations please - Kingston/New Malden/Berrylands

Posting here for traffic, obviously

Can anyone recommend nurseries around New Malden and nearby places, please? We’re moving soon to somewhere close to New Malden station, from a different part of London - we have a 2 year old and need to find a nursery for them. Don’t mind going a couple of stops on the train in any direction.

The move came on a bit suddenly for various reasons so am already very concerned about waiting lists and the impact on our jobs. Online reviews from google, daynurseries, etc, might not be very reliable so thought I’d ask you lovely bunch for recommendations!

Is there any local Facebook group for the area, that might be a good place to ask for reviews, I have done this before. I do find day nurseries reliable as my when my DD was at nursery, her nursery asked us to do a review on there and the day nurseries team would ring me to verify it before it’s published!

Personally though I would avoid any of the chain nurseries as I’ve not heard the greatest things! But other people could have different experiences

exactly @CoconutIAmACoconut this is the obvious step for anyone who actually wanted to know what was in their area rather than posting in the wrong section of a national forum?

Yes so before it’s published, they call you to ask about the review to check it’s actually a real parent whose child attends/did attend. Obviously nothing identifying but they just check it’s a genuine review before they post it online

Why did you even open my post if you have nothing of value to add? The title was clear enough. Just felt like being unpleasant? You read someone’s post saying they’re concerned about something and think to yourself “oh let me just shit on them for no reason”?
