What on earth is going on with him. Calling for Nagel Farage to resign. Now wanting the PM to resign amd said we have a tyrannical government. It's all a bit odd.

I'm sure you can point us to your outrage while the Conservatives were in power.

I don't even know what you're on about. What a weird thread. What difference does that make. We're talking about NOW.

Do you think that everybody has to agree with abortion/full term abortion? 🤔

Full term abortion doesn't exist.

FagsMagsandBags · 06/01/2025 21:28

Verbena17 · 06/01/2025 21:04

I really haven’t fallen down rabbit holes of anything thanks.
And no, I don’t think you’re a fool. How could I? I don’t know you and wouldn’t be so mean as to call you a fool.

Republicans are protecting the lives babies, and no I don’t just mean blastocysts and embryos. I mean babies, who just like in New Zealand would have been able to be aborted right up to birth, then left to die without pain relief.
I don’t see anything wrong in banning abortion with the exception of rape and danger to the mother’s life, so no different to republicans.

Edited

So you're for women's rights but not their right to chose whether to end an unwanted pregnancy? Would you also be like the Republicans and leave the mother to it once she gave birth with no help to afford to bring up her child? Because if so then you're very like the sort of women that Trump is pleased to have in his cabinet. Women who are happy to throw other women under the bus.

Please, however, do not repeat this hideous lie about abortion right up to birth and then left to die in pain in New Zealand. The law there is that you can have an abortion up to 20 weeks without approval from a health practioner. After that you have to have aproval and, my assumption is that as with later abortions in most places in the world they are because of either catastrophic problems with the fetus, the health and safety of the mother or both. No one who isn't some sort of psychopath wants to leave a viable child dying in pain. This is such a heinous lie and I almost feel sorry for people who repeat it because god knows what their notion of the world is. As I've already said, there are problems here in the UK and just about everywhere you look, but the majority of people aren't motivated by hurting others and there is far more kindness in the world to focus on when everything seems dark. Again. This aborting up to due date and leaving viable babies to die in pain story is a disgusting lie.

I think he's South African? He's not American anyway as I remember reading that he, thankfully, could never become the US President as he wasn't born there.

Wasn’t Donald Trump born in Scotland or have dreamed that up.
I know there’s definitely a Scottish connection and ironically again if I’m not mistaken Boris Johnson was born in New York.
So if I am correct Donald Trump born in Scotland (Britain) is and has been the American President
Boris Johnson born in New York (America) was once the British Prime Minister.

There's definitely need for more and I'm glad many are debating it worldwide. You do you.

The victims want the recommendations of the existing report actioned, nit more investigations. The on,y one to mention investigations publically has asked for the sort of local investigations Labour are advocating (and which the Tories also advocated before the election).

happydappy2 · 06/01/2025 21:29

There is so much more to come to light on this, we have a police force scared to prosecute a demographic for fear of being labelled racist…..see nott8ng hill carnival, pro Palestine marches etc etc but the fact they failed young girls is reprehensible.

So you weren't bothered when a government in power for 14 years did very little, now you're outraged because a givernment in power for six months hasn't yet solved the problem of male sexual violence against females?

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 06/01/2025 21:29

Verbena17 · 06/01/2025 21:25

He didn’t say it.
I read the NZ Abortion Bill when it was quietly passed in 2020

And what’s your point? Does, ‘Elon’ have something to say about New Zealand?

Do any of you even care about these kids or do you care more about the inch beyond your nose and your outrage over Elon Musk.

I grew up in one of the Northern towns most effected by grooming gangs.

I know it's a crazy notion, but stay with me: It's possible to be angry about more than one thing.

Labour are in power now. What are they doing about the cover ups and about getting justice for the victims? As said upthread, they managed to push through withdrawing winter fuel allowance and quick convictions for the rioters within weeks. So what’s the hold up??

I would wager good money that the majority of us here care a lot more about those girls than some fucked up billionaire fan of Tommy Robinson.

Is he actually taking the piss with his absurdity and having one big laugh at all our expenses?

Or perhaps this is a ruse between Farage and Musk for Farage to seem reasonable by distancing himself from Musk and by extension, Tommy Robinson?

Edited

It's just a way to make clickbait for his platforms. Yawn!

They are enacting the recommendations of the report. Nothing is covered up, it was looked at in a high profile report. No hold up.

If it's so easy how come the Tories didn't manage it in 14 years?

Good one Musk. Look at this thread 😂

Well it would appear most people think he’s a cunt, so I’m not sure that’s a massive achievement.

Elon Musk was born nutty to two nutty people.
Take a good look at his parents and you can’t arrive at any other conclusion.
But besides being nutty, they’re terrible, awful, abhorrent people.

I think I read that his father has three children with his step-daughter?

MillyBar · 06/01/2025 21:33

Musk is so thin-skinned, he makes Trump look like someone with the hide of a rhino. It is clear that he is incapable of taking even the mildest of disagreement or criticism, without blowing up. He may be a genius, but that doesn't necessarily equate with having any common sense - or any people skills. I think he will last a matter of months in government before he falls out with Trump and Trump gives him the boot. While doing so, Trump might also take away a lot of the U.S. government subsidies that have kept Musk's car company afloat.

Now try quoting from the bill itself.
