To wait for calendars to go in the sale? (Lighthearted)

We need a new family calendar but now it's already 3 Jan I'm hoping they go down in the sale!

If you know when this is or even just have any recommendations I'll take them

I picked one up from the Woodland Trust. It was already discounted before christmas.

I need something with space to write in each day. The ones with a row of boxes per day seems to work better than a single line.

I've ordered ours from Calendar Club - lots of Family Planners with 40% off.

We got ours from The Calendar Club. Most were reduced when I looked just after Christmas.

This was for the family planner ones with separate rows.

I always wait till after boxing day- the price drops!

They were all half price yesterday in my local post office/ gift shop, as were the boxes of christmas cards.

Calendars are one of the things that I've never paid full price for. Likewise mincemeat, wrapping paper, Christmas decorations and loads of other stuff. Just get them reduced after Christmas, or sometimes even before.

I like the box clever ones on their website and on Amazon but they are still full price

I haven't looked in any shops in person so may try that next week

I paid £4 for a calendar with squares for each day that was packed together with a medium sized appointment diary - so £4 for a calendar and diary - at The Works several weeks before Christmas.

How cheap exactly do you want a calendar to be?

I was planning to pay about £10 and they are around £10-14 plus delivery. It's just that it's now 3rd Jan I'm wondering whether they'll be reduced in a day or too. It's more important to me to get the calendar I want than the price but half price Woolf be great!

The ones in Waterstones are half price now, I got a lovely one. WHSmiths still full price which I found annoying!

I think if I sold calendars I'd reduce them on Monday next week so I get it and I know I'm being cheap for no good reason but on principle I don't want to order it today if it's going to be half price within 2 days. I've also just cancelled Amazon prime so will have to pay for delivery.

I've paid £6.59 for our Bluey Family Planner from The Calender Club online. Should be arriving this weekend.

I'll have to look at Calendar Club. Is that the one they used to be in shopping centres all over the place? I didn't realise it was an online thing.

Most years I pay around £10 for a calendar but someone told me about The Works so I saved myself £6.

Apart from the paper being slightly thinner, but thick enough to hang well and survive for the year, it's the same size and layout as my usual type

Tbh I'm not that fussed about how it looks as it's only going to hang on the back of my kitchen door - the glossy pictures for each month are pleasant enough - I just want it to have good sized squares for each day and be reasonably strong.

Not sure I want a scary gruffalo hanging on the back of my kitchen door scaring the life out of me when I'm half asleep and having to feed the dog at 5am😱

Ooh yes, Calendar Club. Must admit they do make beautiful calendars.

Yes that's the one - they still have shops but also online which is more convenient if you're not going where one of their shops is.

Waterstones and Calendar Club have all theirs reduced, I got a great family planner from Waterstones on Monday for £7.

I got a Gruffalo family one for £3.75 at Sainsbury's yesterday

Online unlikely to be cheaper than just picking one up while you’re out. Last year at the end of January a local shop threw all their calendars out in a bin at the front free to take!
