I think Elon is extremely weird and very brilliant and in no way agree with everything he does or says. But it is great he is using his voice and pulpit to draw attention to the prolonged and neglected horror of Asian child rape and torture gangs in dozens of English towns: a horror that was obviously ignored and fostered by our elites. The girls and their families paid an enormous price: the elites who allowed it to happen on their watch have had no consequences. No justice, no peace.

the elites who allowed it to happen on their watch have had no consequences

Which elites do you think are to blame?

And shame on you for being a liar, liar pants on fire!

You‘ve done nothing but lie and use these victims for your own twisted political agenda. You are disgraceful.

Call me what you like, I don't give a toss what an anonymous nobody like you thinks.

I do know that you are more outraged that EM has the balls to challenge & humiliate govt & you are the one who couldn't give a fiddlers about the victims who want their voices heard. If you cared you would be delighted Elon has put the spotlight on govt past & present for their utter failure here.

Use Google as I suggested in my previous post and apply some critical thinking.

I want your view as you said everyone knows why.

OneAmberFinch · 03/01/2025 16:28

To take this thread in a more productive direction, perhaps we can start highlighting specific recommendations (from previous inquiries or otherwise) which we believe would be important for a campaign to coalesce around?

There's a lot of attention on this issue at the moment, so it would be good to get specific.

I'll start: mandatory reporting of reported and observed ethnicity for all serious crimes, and regular publishing of national-level statistics disaggregated by ethnicity, country of origin, and immigration background (i.e. of parents) if known. Additional funding and training to police forces already identified as having inconsistent data. Penalties for any forces suspected of muddying the data.

And a review of any laws, bylaws, regulations etc which limit the ability of police to profile criminals along any dimension they find relevant using said data, thereby making it harder to identify new gangs that crop up using similar methods.

Most normal people are opposed to the rape & abuse of all people regardless of age or gender.

So why did you keep typing tweens.

It was your words. I know you have problems reading and answering questions but you've tied yourself in such semantic knots of anger you aren't engaging in the discussion and are choosing to get more annoyed when presented with facts.

Is that what happened with your letters you sent? Is that why they aren't being shred so we can send them too?

Being shred?? And you question my comprehension!!! Pot, kettle!!

Oh so the previous government did fail too?

justteanbiscuits · 03/01/2025 16:32

I'm going to try, @Chainzreaction to make this clear so you can answer the questions:

  1. Were you aware of the 2022 report when asking for an inquiry?

  2. Presuming you were aware, why do you think a new report is better than focussing on the 2022 report and implementing it's actions?

  3. Why do you think the Tories didn't implement the actions outlined in the 2022 report?

Why does everyone keep saying "but the Tories failed too" like it's a gotcha? This isn't a Labour vs Tories issue.

Lots of people have worked tirelessly over the years to put the spotlight on these gangs and to highlight the appalling way the police and social services treated the victims.

Why is Musk suddenly being hailed as a saviour of the abused?

Yes it is. Have you missed the threats and hate speech against Jess Phillips and attempts to blame Starmer?

Yes I was aware.
I think there obviously is reason for reopening the enquiry as it's what the victims themselves are asking for & their voices need to be listened to.
I have no idea why the tories didn't implement the findings immediately. Do you?

OP posts:
dcbgr · 03/01/2025 16:35

The elites I blame are first the local council workers and police who did not take child rape and torture seriously if the children were working class, vulnerable or considered low-worth. The other elites I blame are those in charge of immigration policy who allowed immigration of people who are criminals, a net cost to the tax-payer and who make the communities they live in more unpleasant. I have nothing against immigration of people who are not-criminals, pay more in than they take out, and contribute to the communities who host them: providing of course the communities they join also welcome them.

The op is determined to blame labour. Either the current government, or the previous opposition, and has steadfastly refused to say the conservatives did anything wrong. I think in her last post blaming “past and present governments” she means past Labour ones.

im trying to get her to clarify

(and apologies if the op isn’t a “her”. I have assumed)

Ah, now we’re getting somewhere, you actually realise there’s been an inquiry. It took long enough.

From what another poster put, it seems that the victims want the findings of the inquiry to be implemented, rather than a new inquiry.

  1. So why did you make no mention of it until someone told you? You spoke of there being no inquiry and report

  2. From what I can gather, the very few victims who have spoken have been misled. The majority, in a statement, have said they want the findings from the 2022 report implemented. Surely implementing these actions is MUCH better than starting a whole new inquiry which will take years.

  3. I think it's clear they really didn't care. Which makes their calls for a whole new inquiry pretty ridiculous.

Edited

Because he is the one with the largest following & most influence. Let's see how it pans out & what govt actually do with a bit of pressure from EM.. The tories are already calling for another inquiry after a few tweets from EM...
He's not a saviour but he is one of the loudest voices in the world so go figure..

No I think more victims want the recommendations implemented. Seeing as you knew about the enquiry and it’s recommendations, what about them leads you to disagree with victims and call for another?

That's not true at all. Evidence please. I said the inquiry needed to be reopened. Please post where I said i did not know of the inquiry.

If you were aware, why did you fail to mention it on your previous thread and demanded a full inquiry instead?
