One of the reasons people are calling for a FURHER enquiry is that there are still unresolved aspects relating to what happened - for example, court mandated contact for the rapist with the children born from the rapes they committed. There are women still fighting to have this overturned out of fear for their babies safety.
Also, some of the girls still have criminal records from when they were arrested by the police INSTEAD of their rapists.
Some were as young as 12/13 while the adult men got off scott free.
There is so much still to do, this is NOT OVER.
