If you read it within the right timeframe it’s positive. If it only showed up after the set time then it could be a false positive, I’ve had that happen. I made the mistake of fishing the test back out of the bin to double check.

Thanks so much everyone! I am 40, we have been trying since a miscarriage / no fetal HB at 12 weeks in October 2023 with no luck.
Laat month we gave up and accepted it wasn’t going to happen, but I was due to get the general blood tests tomorrow (today now) to discover any issues with hormones etc
we are so happy this will be our third baby x

I definitely see a line whereas I don't on most of these types of posts where everyone else's seems to. My first pregnancy at 40 there was no doubting the very dark line but my second at 42 was much lighter so I retested a few times over the following couple weeks. She's 19 now ...
