Kids/teens moping about in shops

They congregate outside shops and places such as McDs. They shout and swear at customers and staff. Sometimes they run in and ride their e-scooters.

This behaviour isn’t cool and big. Then when the staff of shops/McDs/whatever or police ask them to leave. They come back a few minutes later. Again not cool and big behaviour.

When I was their age 10-15, I didn’t do this nor did anyone.

I do hate people who say that youth clubs don’t exist anymore and need to return. Youth clubs when I was a teen were crap. A pool table, some other activity that can have 2-4 people and that’s it!

so what do you want to do about em.
Just have a moan and a a gripe or give them a special place of their own to congregate… err like a youth club?

All the places they used to go are closed? Or everywhere costs money. They couldn't pay me to be a teen today. I'd hate it.

Really? When I was at secondary we had kids (not me obviously 😇) who did stupid things on a dare all the time - run in to shops and spill stuff on the floor, ask stupid questions and wind up the staff, block the pavement so people had to walk in the road to get round them, cycle through shops or go two up on a pushbike tearing around footpaths and generally being pains in the bum...

There was bugger all you could do in the evenings then and there's bugger all they can do now. Parents want a quiet evening without having to entertain them or ferry them to constant activities, the activities cost too much, they can't sit around in cafes without buying something, cinema tickets cost a bomb... I can remember going to friends houses a lot as a teen but my friendship group were lucky enough to have relatively stable homes with space to have friends over, not everyone is in that situation.

Those teens sound horrible - if my teens were being rude and antisocial Id be furious. However teens do get a bad name generally and there really is so little for them to do...
My teenager got shouted at for pushing his younger cousin on the swing because the playground is for under 12s..but he wasn't on the swing, he was pushing his cousin (I was there with younger dc and know they werent acting up) so it's no different to a parent pushing their dc on the swings

Yep I work in b&m
We often have teenagers in who steal vapes and redbull
They are such a nuisance, I've been called all sorts of names before.
Anything that isn't nailed down is stolen as they know we are short staffed
Ive found teens IN the shelves before
They do my head in
