Even if I lived in London, I'd have had enough by now. But I don't, and am really hacked off at paying good money for so called quality papers stuffed full of articles which (no disrespect to my Southern pals) have naff all to do with me. Am also fed up of restaurant reviews etc seldom venturing outside London. I know it's a big city, I know it's important, and I know a significant percentage of the population lives there. But what about the rest of us?
(pissed and almost certainly unreasonable !!!!)

The rest of who??????????
There is no life outside of London, all Londoners know that. A restaurant review outside of London - what, do you have restaurants worth writing about, really???????

But seriously YABU!

Kevlarhead · 02/05/2008 22:43

YABU.

London is the centre of the universe. The quaint villages and 'towns' scattered over the rest of the UK merely orbit its greatness. The same goes for the people; they all have to be told, day in, day out, what the realer, better people in London (who are all politicians or journalists) are doing, and why they are better than you.

You should also note that we all need to know who wins the Mayoral election. If Boris wins, it will be a victory for freedom. If the communist forces of Red Ken acheive a corrupt victory, the entire world will fall off its axis and land in Hell.

This is what the Daily Telegraph tells me anyway...

Does anyone else think that if Boris shaved his head he'd look like Matt Lucas's twin brother?

lilolilmanchester · 02/05/2008 23:06

(or Matt Lucas's and Kevin Shaw's triplet!)

you obv don't read the Guardian or the Obs. I swear they have a policy of deliberately doing restuarant reviews out of London. They are always in Hull or somesuch place.

LyraSilvertongue · 02/05/2008 23:09

YABU.
Ken v Boris is a big story at the moment. Next week it will be different.

lilolilmanchester · 02/05/2008 23:09

ha ha both actually, but neither ever do any in my area!!

OP posts:
lilolilmanchester · 02/05/2008 23:10

agree it's a big story. But not the only one.

OP posts:
LyraSilvertongue · 02/05/2008 23:12

And I'm sure it's not the only story in whatever paper you red.

LyraSilvertongue · 02/05/2008 23:13

read

lilolilmanchester · 02/05/2008 23:14
