I'm wondering if there are any mumsnetters from Cambridge that would like to meet up tomorrow or Friday?

Basically my marriage is in a bloody state right now, our friends are all intertwined so I can't speak to anybody in real life and to be honest I just want to get out of the house!

So yes, this is a desperate plea for anyone that wants to meet up for a few cocktails and mindless chat that is totally free flowing!

I'm 37F for context.

Sounds desperate, I probably am...but maybe, just maybe someone else could do with 'blind date' (it's not a date but you know what I mean!) as well??

I just find it the best, no need to book in or drive anywhere! I've finally found out that I'm lazy when it comes to exercise so the easier it is to do the more likely I'll do it! Treated myself to a new pair of trainers for Christmas which I'm loving! Hope you had a nice Christmas and new years?

Yes, much more spontaneous, I take gym stuff with me every time I am away which feels very often to be honest so there is no excuse.

Yes, worked a bit of it, but rested and ate the rest! Was yours ok, even with tricky DH?

Do you have to travel for work or is it for pleasure? I guess the only problem is is that I don't do any strength training which I know I should do but 🤷‍♀️

Christmas was quiet, it was just me and DC. We survived which was my only goal.

Yes, strength essential for keeping your spine in good shape etc, I guess will pay dividends when you have a fall as an old cronie!
