Turkey cooked on the 25th, made curry with it yesterday. Still loads of curry left. It’s been in the fridge since it cooled. Would you chance eating it today???

Yes

ComtesseDeSpair · 28/12/2024 12:19

Yes, isn’t this how everyone treats Christmas leftovers? Pretty much everyone I know has done more or less exactly the same, wouldn’t even occur to me it mightn’t be fine to eat.

MolkosTeenageAngst · 28/12/2024 12:20

Yes, it was only cooked 3 days ago so I’d eat it so long as it’s been kept covered in the fridge and the curry is reheated fully before eating. I think it’s fairly standard to be eating leftover turkey for most of the week after Christmas.

Yeah

Annabella92 · 28/12/2024 12:20

Yes just make sure you heat it through properly

Iloveanicegarden · 28/12/2024 12:24

Providing it was well cooked to begin with - it will last for over a week if stored correctly. Be careful when reheating though as it can become rather tasteless. Steam wrapped in foil/microwave with gravy to keep it moist.

Yes.

bridgetreilly · 28/12/2024 12:42

That’s not even a chance, it’s completely fine. Freeze anything you don’t eat today.

devildeepbluesea · 28/12/2024 12:43

Yes. Because there’s no risk.
