When I first saw her on screen, I literally couldn’t believe my eyes.

As a whole it was pleasant enough and watchable albeit a bit boring in parts - e.g the whole stag do thing was bit ‘meh’ - but I couldn’t just sit through it without scrolling through phone which is terrible habit I know

However she was on G&S for 2 minutes and she has the most monotone, boring voice. No she didn’t ‘make’ G&S. The best part was the ending and having Dave back in it! The whole thing should of ended years a go though.

Such a weird thread. She’s a good actress but she’s not in a different league to many of the main cast. She’s not as high profile as Alison Steadman or Sheridan Smith. She also didn’t “make” the episode in the slightest.

Re Corden being a shit to waitstaff. That big bust up he had in an NYC restaurant was because his wife served her allergen and he was pissed off.

The restaurant manager was then all over tv and social media, banning him, reinstating hime, banning him again the. Making some sort odd offer to him.

It wasn't how the media painted it. Albeit I doubt he was blameless either, but as an allergen family, I'd lose my shit if my DIL was served peanuts.

Yes, im no expert on the subject but I've not read anything that makes James Corden sound terrible. I get the impression he let fame go to his head at times and might be a bit of a divo but I'm not sure his ongoing reputation is fully deserved.

His version of egg yolk gate and subsequent acceptance of his apology suggests that wasn't as simple as him just carrying on for no reason. He admits he was wrong to be rude but claims allergy info was ignored more than once and he didn't raise his voice.

AMM is nothing to shout home about. She’s got the same expression for everything. She’s really irritating in the stressful flustered middle class mother role and not that much different as a vicar either.

The rest of the cast were great. It really did feel like meeting up with old friends. I know James Corden gets a lot of hate and I’m indifferent to that but he was great in G&S. Nessa was fabulous. I’ve seen Ruth Jones on Graham Norton and really want to see her in more roles.

Agree, when you constantly tell staff about allergies for them to ignore it, isn’t a little thing, it is literally lethal to many.

Other than this one thing I’ve only heard good things about how nice he is. If sometimes he acts as a diva, well who dosnt at times, he takes pride in his work, we have no idea why if he has acted that way what his reasons are.

All the nice things I’ve heard about him definitely out way any negative press I’ve heard.
