So I am sitting with a wine thinking already of January, back to work (work term time) and nursery for 2 year old dd.
January is obviously a month where money can be tight but we are extremely lucky to be given a few hundred quid off a family member so we want to do some nice things as I struggle so much with the time between Christmas and Feb half term, I think I have SAD to a degree and find it so drab and awful!
I’ve Been looking at some ideas for days out and the usual farm parks, outdoor stuff near us (Lancashire) seem to all be shut or very reduced openings in January. Or things like National Trust have nothing going on. Was also thinking CBeebies land at Alton towers for the day or something similar but is it shut. We also have family caravan in Anglesey but there doesn’t seem to be anything going on there either!
so ‘AIBU’ to ask what are are some ideas, that you have to do in the gap between January and Feb half term where things are shut or not available, or even what things do you do to cheer up the weekends a bit and keep a toddler busy!
TIA!
