I am being petty ?

In laws decided last minute to come for Christmas dinner not a problem was enough food just means less left overs. Anyway they turned up with a bottle of wine which they drank then moved on to drink we had got in MIL also brought some fish knowing is something I don’t eat but will always have in as DH likes it.

not sure if I am petty or it’s rude but given the short notice they gave us they wanted to come knowing it would me not DH doing the cooking etc they would have least brought wine to share or a food contribution we could all enjoy?

Why didn't you all share the wine? Surely if they opened it you'd all just join in of you wanted some?

If it was last minute, surely they didn't have chance to get anything else to bring?

I mean possibly it's something special/brand they enjoy as a tradition every year and didn't want to contribute it to the 'general pool'? I think when it's as close as parents/adult children contributing lines are a bit blurry anyway.
