Family Christmas - adults making jokes at the expense of the children. Some of them not funny at all. Never noticed until I had my own children and now realise that any kind of nurture is not there at all. I make sure and reiterate to my children when we leave that that isn’t how we treat each other etc and show them the toxicity but wondering how everyone else copes with toxic family ar Christmas?
