If somebody you had spent money on got you a 4 year old lavender body set (I don’t like the scent and they know ) btw I know they are not struggling for money or am I being unreasonable. I think maybe it’s something they had in their drawers or from a charity shop

Yes I'd be disappointed but how do you know how old it is?

How do you know ts 4 years old? Some people are inconsiderate. Don't let it spoil your day... operate from your heart and be glad you got them something nice.

Well the box was a bit knackered so I thought it must be old and it’s one of the sets that Boots used to sell 3/4 years ago. Definitely not new as they don’t do these ones anymore

I’d be disappointed but did they know for sure you’d get them a present? Have you done presents with them before? Maybe they didn’t know or maybe as we are this year they were just disorganised- Christmas presents don’t mean anything in the end, it’s the interaction, the time spent etc (sorry you didn’t get anything nice though x)

Yes, disappointed. Body sets are very much ‘last chance saloon’ presents, and lavender is not a modern scent to give.
