So I got my son an electric car for Christmas. I built it after a long day and charged it. Well I bloody out the front wheels on the back and back wheels on the front. I’ve gone to move it around but the back wheels I can’t get off because the sport spins when I turn the bolt. Effectively I can’t take off the bolt and can’t change the tyres. Does anyone know what to do?

There is usually something to stop the wheels from turning so you can undo the bolts. Maybe a button or a lever.

Hold the wheel while undoing the bolt?

ickky · 25/12/2024 12:32

Use pliers to hold the axle still.

Do you have WD40 to slacken off the fittings?

This did the job. The counter spin on the opposite wheel did the job!! Thank you.

And you didn’t even need to find a man to fix it for you. A Christmas miracle.

I really hope you’re not raising daughters. How depressing that you go to advice is to find a man to help.

Yes this would never have happened if she'd been a lone male, could only happen to a woman. Not could another woman have been of any help, only a man Hmm
