I agree but I'm lying to myself about it. I cant face up to the truth.

I also was confronted with this disappointment today. Smaller, less caramel. Used to be my favourite.

I can understand a desire to cut costs instead of increase prices, but sometimes the cost of cost-cutting is too high.

They are all really boring now 😴

1000% agree, I thought it was a new chocolate, soo disappointed!!!

All of them are the size of a Pixies fart these days. That's worse than whatever they've done to the shapes, which was bad enough.

Ah - is this Quality Street? I was searching my QS tub for a purple one earlier today but couldn't find it, so I thought maybe it was in Roses and I got the brands muddled?

But what the heck has happened to the wrappers? I know we need to cut down plastic waste, so the plastic wrappers have gone, but the colours of the QS foil wrappers have changed too. They are DRAB. They have sucked the joy out of them!

Quality street are grim these days, taste like chemical cleaner.

No coffee (not that I miss them but my DH does) and yet they persist with the toffees. I like that you can buy a top up bag instead of another tin but it’s a slippery slope, at some point we as a nation will rise up and start a revolution. “Quality” my fat arse.

Things have certainly taken a turn for a worse with this new Government.

But on the brighter side, the evenings are getting lighter, ☀

Agree. First they took the nut out. Then they ruined the chocolate, changed the shape and took off the pretty wrapper. As if doing away with the coffee cream and Turkish delight wasn't bad enough.

How many iterations of caramel/toffee do you need in chocolates? The new QS seems to be mostly caramel/toffee. Agreed the Purple One is a shadow of its former self and what is going on with the coconut one? Where’s the coconut?

Just 10 minutes ago i discovered this for myself! It's changed shape and is smaller. Lesser.

Also just had the convo about the dull wrappers with DD3.

Even so i still think QS is better than Heros. Had a tub of those open the other night and 80% of 'em were flipping double deckers 😤

I had 2 coconut ones my bag! I'm glad I only got bag and not a big tin, won't be buying them next year that's for sure.
Oh and Cadburys have lost the 'royal seal', not surprised!

I discovered this travesty this morning. Not happy. Also they have fucked up orange creams by turning them into a weird orange truffle thing. Why do Quality Street not realise that they have to keep the sweets exactly the same as they were in everyone’s childhood?

I saw an old QS 'menu' and oh my, so sad to see what has gone. It is a shadow of what it once was.

The coconut has lost a lot of its essential coconuttyness. It’s just a bit chewy now. They can only push it so far. *shakes fist.
