To think billionaire backers could turn out to be a PR disaster?

AIBU to think that Reform being backed and bankrolled by loads of billionaires could backfire?

I get the obvious advantage of having “money no object” backers, but it’s a pretty obvious line of attack - especially if overseas billionaires look like they’re trying to “buy” the outcome of a UK election?

Or is the PR risk worth it to have the funds to challenge the two main parties?

It'll probably hasten restrictions on how political parties get funded...
