Purple and white chat window - is something going on?

Need to know if I'm being crazy or rightly suspicious. DH keeps popping upstairs for 15 or 20 mins - when I walked past spare room he was on desktop computer and there was what looked like a chat window open with a purple banner buy otherwise very plan looking. He closed it as soon as he saw me and shut down the computer. Most recently his excuse for disappearing was to use the bathroom but I've been in after he turned the computer off and loo hasn't been flushed ( I put some rubbish in there earlier that was still there).

I confronted DH and he said it was an email. Then he went for a run for 40 mins (already planned). When he returned I asked to see this email window as it didn't look like an email to me. He's showed me a Google Chrome browser and outlook email, neither of which look like the purple banner window I saw. Does anyone know what this is? Is it innocent and I'm crazy (like he says) or is this some kind of chat site?

There are quite a few that have a purple default interface - and, yes, some are dating apps. In most mainstream messaging apps, you can set your own colour and some, like Facebook Messenger, let you set them per contact.

Surely the real issue is that he's disappearing more than he used to, doing something he urgently conceals from you, and telling you you're crazy.

He does spend quite a lot of time on the computer normally but it's often while I'm busy for a chunk of time. Suppose now we're both off for Xmas we're both in the house all day. It's the lying that's concerning me, why say he's going to the bathroom when he's not? And if it's a messaging app and it's innocent I don't understand why he'd say its an email. Don't think he'd be the type to cheat but wondered if it's porn related.

At this time of year could it be Christmas related? A customer service live chat for example?

Facebook messenger is usually purple and white
