Covid in children

If anyone's child has had covid, does this sound like it could be covid? My DD was unwell Monday night, tummy ache, vomiting. Tuesday she slept most of the day and had a temperature and then Wednesday and Thursday she was back to her normal self. She has been fine this weekend but has had a runny nose and a cough that came on suddenly. However she has been up tonight saying her tummy hurts again and keeps going to the toilet as she feels sick but she hasn't actually vomited. I have a bad cold atm and im wondering if its covid now.

You can't tell unless you test.

Sounds like she has a normal winter bug. Plenty of stomach and cough and cold things going around and not unusual around the school holidays to be ill

COVID symptoms were so random that unless you test you'll never know. Is there a reason you are worrying specifically about COVID, most people have built up some immunity not so it isn't as dangerous as Feb 2020

I forgot to mention she came yesterday and said to me 'mummy, im better now, I can taste these crisps' so obviously her taste went but she didn't tell me that a few days ago. Just hoping she will feel better again by morning. She hasn't had any diarrhea just tummy ache and feeling sick/being sick but only monday night and her tummy ache has returned
