What’s in these sad people’s heads to vandalise things

Someone down the next street decorates their home with thousands of lights for charity. Someone cut the wires to some of the lights - the homeowner switches off lights at about 1am.

Then someone has knitted a post box topper and two figures have been removed.

Then earlier this year, the public toilets were reopened for the first time since the pandemic. They were only opened 9am-6pm. Locked up by a council worker. Yet within 10 days they were closed as hand dryers were pulled off walls, graffiti everywhere etc.

Something must be going wrong with these idiots who think it’s funny to damage others’ properties etc.

I'm not condoning the Christmas lights but 1am is way too late... they will be most annoying when people are trying to get to sleep.

Some people are just dicks. In autumn a local Scout hut was broken into. Main purpose was theft of metal, the new kitchen etc. But they also systemically destroyed everything that was off no value... including the children's artwork.
Years ago, my current nursery garden was broken into and the toys destroyed... who would do that to toddlers?
