To find it annoying when you’re served burnt toast in a cafe?

Honestly it came out black.

Well obviously you send it back and ask for edible toast!

Send it back

My best friend would say yum and tuck in. I would say yuck and send it back.

Well yes obviously. My point is it’s just weird that they serve it like that.

This surely can't be a problem you face often and if it is the logical solution is to find a better cafe.

It’s just a light hearted thread …

Yes I got served black toast today which I sent back. And yes this has happened numerous times in my 36 years at different cafes.

I get what you mean, it's rather the fact that they've obviously seen it had been burnt, and still thought it was acceptable to serve out instead of just sending one out that wasn't burnt in the first place. I've had things brought out to me and thought "really, they think this is OK to serve"??? And asked them if they were brought food out like it, would they be OK with it???
