I gave them an item to sale, after the agreement period was up I asked to take the item off sale as I’d reduced the price twice in between and it still hadn’t sold. Thereafter, I reached out to other resellers and I was being offered more money as a cash payout. Sellier Knightsbridge agreed on email that the bag was taken off sale and I agreed to pick it up that week. They then went and sold the bag for less and refused to honour the price difference. After making the sale they said until items get picked up they remain for sale. At no point before selling my item did they say this to me. I got an email confirmation that the item is taken off from sale on Sunday and I agreed to pick it up on the following Friday. That Wednesday they went and sold the item. They admitted they made a mistake but can’t do anything about it, I asked if they can honour the difference, give a voucher or even take the amount off when if I make a purchase with them as it was their fault and they made a commission of over £1k on my item. They refused to honour anything and said they could offer a face scrub and a candle, after much back and forth that’s all they gave me, when I took the giftbag which contained the scrub and candle, the scrub was old and damaged, attaching images, it was clearly a regift and outdated, this was quite an insult to be honest. It was not even a face scrub but a hair scrub, I have bleached hair, clearly not something I could use. It nowhere near made up for the loss of money. Avoid at all cost. Attaching emails from the communication so they don’t lie about this like they have on their other negative reviews. They don’t give you a contract for this very reason so they can con you. Please go elsewhere if you want to feel respected as a client and not be lied to about your own item that you are trying to sell. But is there anything I can do?
