Weeing in front of baby

My husband said he has a stand up wee in front of our baby. Am I being unreasonable for telling him not to?

Ahh sorry, this was meant to say friends husband!!

Under what circumstances does your friend's husband bring YOUR baby into the bathroom with him?

All sounds a bit pervy to me Hmm

Deffo. I definitely wouldn't piss with a baby on my lap if I was tired and the baby, you know, didn't give a shit.

DaringLion · 20/12/2024 17:49

I’m confused who’s baby and who’s husband

Loub1987 · 20/12/2024 17:52

I refer to using the toilet without my toddler there as a ‘luxury wee’. What’s the issue?

Hoppinggreen · 20/12/2024 17:08

Is his aim so bad its a concern?

Gotta love Mumsnet!

ThisIcyHare · 20/12/2024 17:54

My baby thinks either of us doing a wee in front of her is the funniest thing ever 😂

JasmineTea11 · 20/12/2024 17:55

Gasp! The very same penis that led to its conception?! The horror.

BlueSilverCats · 20/12/2024 17:55

Anywhere and everywhere? Yeah... that would be an issue.

In the toilet? Fine.

Hahahahahahaha oh this is the worst attempt to save a thread that I have ever come across! I hope you have apologised profusely to your husband, @Elf24.

I've BF on loo before. Severe case of the velcro baby.

Still pee with the 4yo when we're out - where else would they wait whilst you're in there?? The 2yo still accompanies me for all my wees and poos, because he wants to pass me loo roll and chat to me about light switches 🤷‍♀️

Yep, I’ve BF on the loo too! First post birth 💩 was pretty traumatic but DS was screaming his head off for a feed. 🤷‍♀️

ginasevern · 20/12/2024 17:57

PerditaLaChien · 20/12/2024 17:46

Actually its really important for toddlers to see their parents wee on the loo. For a boy they need to see dad wee.

She's said it's not her husband but her friend's husband weeing in front of her baby. Which is whole new territory.

ATuinTheGreat · 20/12/2024 18:00

Or does OP mean that her husband has a stand-up wee in front of her friend’s husband?

JasmineTea11 · 20/12/2024 17:55

Turns out it was the friend having the wee - would make a much more interesting story if he was the baby's father too!

FontainesDH · 20/12/2024 18:02

So, your friend's husband/ your baby's father who also happens to be married to your friend was looking after your baby and he needed a wee so took the baby to the toilet with him. Have I got that right? And you're a bit concerned about this? Why, oh why? OP, this is a very strange topic for a thread.

AffableApple · 20/12/2024 18:02

Is this your first baby?! I have 2-year-old twins, and when I can wee, it is definitely public 🤣

CoffeeCakeAndALattePlease · 20/12/2024 18:04

Blimey. Yabu.
our kids are 5 and 9 and DH and I (especially me!) rarely get to wee in peace!

ObtuseMoose · 20/12/2024 18:07

Why is your friend's husband in the bathroom with your baby? Is he coming over every time he needs a tinkle and whisking said baby away to wee in front of them? Would a sit down wee be more acceptable?
I have so many questions...

MY husband and OUR baby suggestion this is the true story and not your friends husband 😂😂

Bad try op!
