Weeing in front of baby

My husband said he has a stand up wee in front of our baby. Am I being unreasonable for telling him not to?

OTannenbaumOTannenbaum · 20/12/2024 17:33

Sure it did 😆

ManhattanPopcorn · 20/12/2024 17:33

Like, he just gets the urge whenever he's in front of the baby? You'll never get that out of the carpet.

PortiasBiscuit · 20/12/2024 17:34

Tell your DH to sit down to wee, standing up is barbaric.

Elf24 · 20/12/2024 17:31

Ahh sorry, this was meant to say friends husband!!

Of course it did

StampOnTheGround · 20/12/2024 17:34

We don't believe you 😂

Justcallmebebes · 20/12/2024 17:34

Well I spent years having little kids watch me pee and now I'm watched by my grandkids. I hope to pee in privacy before I die

SatansBobbleheadedDashboardOrnament · 20/12/2024 17:35

Awful. I'd only take a massive, steaming shite.

Your friend’s husband has a wee in front of his own baby? Or your baby?

You have a baby with your friends husband? Because you definitely called it ‘our baby’ this has just gotten a whole lot more interesting

Londonrach1 · 20/12/2024 17:36

Lol....wait until you have to hold a toddler whilst you attempt to wee. Nicely yabu.

OkayLetMeKnowHowItGoes · 20/12/2024 17:36

Well he can’t put baby in the corner, can he?

Your friend’s husband has a wee in front of his own baby? Or your baby?

You see that, I might have an issue with

lover99 · 20/12/2024 17:37

I understand being suspicious of men with young children but my Dad bathed with us until we were about 5/6, I think you're being weird.

TunipTheVegimal24 · 20/12/2024 17:37

I've BF on loo before. Severe case of the velcro baby.

Still pee with the 4yo when we're out - where else would they wait whilst you're in there?? The 2yo still accompanies me for all my wees and poos, because he wants to pass me loo roll and chat to me about light switches 🤷‍♀️

ginasevern · 20/12/2024 17:39

Under what circumstances does your friend's husband wee in front of your baby? Does he babysit for you, because that's the only time I can imagine this would happen. If not, does he scoop your baby up when you visit and take it into the loo with him? Alternatively, is it yours and this man's baby? We need answers OP.

We never shut the bathroom doors in our house, so my children regularly see me and my husband naked in the shower or taking a pee! They are 7-13. They don’t bat an eyelid.

Also your husband will regularly have to take your child into men’s public toilets. They will see complete strangers peeing in urinals.

If you don’t make it a big deal then it isn’t a big deal.

13?!

👀

Moonyblue · 20/12/2024 17:42

I think you realise you are being unreasonable don’t dig a further whole with any excuses! Best thing to do is admit is you were wrong and move on

WhimsicalGubbins76 · 20/12/2024 17:44

op, if this is a real question, then seriously, give your head a wobble.

of course you’re being unreasonable 🙄

Margorett · 20/12/2024 17:45

I would more worried about your own mind/thoughts, than I would your hubby weeing in front of a baby!!

HooMoo · 20/12/2024 17:46

I did a wee today with my 11 month old on my lap!

PerditaLaChien · 20/12/2024 17:46

Actually its really important for toddlers to see their parents wee on the loo. For a boy they need to see dad wee.

ThePoshUns · 20/12/2024 17:47

Schools only broke up today and you're bored already?
