For telling some -dimwit-- fellow poster that pregnancy tests are not reliable indicator of pregnancy 4 days after you wee on them and that the reason its yellow is because it's full of dried piss..

Also that the only way to describe a 'metalic' taste in your mouth is to say its tastes unsurprisingly of metal.

Banned from a mothering message board.. i am semi embarassed !

i think she has realised she shouldn't have posted hope's nickname and has asked for that to be deleted. has anyone actually reported it? BanMe - it might be best if you report it yourself.

BanMe · 01/05/2008 16:48

i did report it and it got removed.

minouminou · 01/05/2008 16:49

no, rhubarb, not at all....i've always had this name on here
this is not a personal issue, so you don't need to feel aggrieved or threatened in any way

FreddysTeddy · 01/05/2008 16:50

So, if we don't like tickers we're not allowed to say? OK, Rhubarb, could you send me the list of things we are and aren't allowed to talk about please?

vicky1985 · 01/05/2008 16:50

just wanted to say sorry.

i hope you all have a lovely day!!

IAMI · 01/05/2008 16:52

Ah thanks hun. Though seriously what are you apologising for?

FreddysTeddy · 01/05/2008 16:53

I love the way that bullying gets bandied about these days. Yes, it's not particularly nice to bitch about what goes on on other site but it's clearly not meant to get back to them so I'm confused as to why they think they're being bullied.

Mercy · 01/05/2008 16:54

Rhubarb - yes I know you were and can understand you having a soft spot for NM.

But I think the piss-taking and perceived (?) nastiness can work both ways tbh.

I'm getting a bit confused as to what's going on now anyway.

Rhubarb · 01/05/2008 16:54

Fine. Then let's keep it in context.

I don't see why Mumsnetters should take the piss out of another site, then react gleefully when those other members come on here to defend themselves. They shouldn't feel as though they have to defend themselves should they?

Mumsnet and other parenting sites have a long and not very nice history. But whilst most of their members are pink and fluffy and can't even swear without using asterixs, we pull no punches, so in the parenting wars it's hardly fair now is it?

I don't like seeing someone who is clearly offended as vicki was, and others carrying on taking the piss. Mumsnetters might be able to give as good as they get, but others just get offended and that was clear to me as I read it.

So let's not cause any more offence. And if anyone thinks I'm being hypocritical - then go shit a melon! I'm allowed to be!

oiFoiF · 01/05/2008 16:55

I feel a bit sorry for the original poster on bounty (sorry) but she is obviously desperate to get pregnant and is obsessing about it and now loadsof people both on bounty and on mumsnet know about her.

The rest of it is tit for tat though

you called them dimwits
they call us wankers

CHARMING

vicky1985 · 01/05/2008 16:55

JeremyVile · 01/05/2008 16:57

Good work Rhubarb.

IAMI · 01/05/2008 16:57

I didn't admit to you being wrong.

vicky1985 · 01/05/2008 16:58

sorry, i mean i can admit when i'm wrong.

IAMI · 01/05/2008 17:00

Ok, in the spirit of fairness I'm sorry for being an immature very bored mother.

aquababe · 01/05/2008 17:00

I'm having a particularly shit day and this thread has cheered me up no end (excluding excessive nastiness of course)

thanks

Rhubarb · 01/05/2008 17:01

Group hug everyone whilst I piss off and have a cuppa.
Can't stand hugs myself, far too pink and fluffy!

IAMI · 01/05/2008 17:02

Ah Rhubs (((((Rhubarb)))))

gscrym · 01/05/2008 17:02

Will a firm hand shake and a pat on the back do?

(not a huggy person either).

Rhubarb · 01/05/2008 17:02

Just nod yer head.

OrmIrian · 01/05/2008 17:03

Missed it.

So everyone is friends again. Goody.

But may I have a very very small at 'babydancing'. Please?

vicky1985 · 01/05/2008 17:03

I think i've changed my thoughts on mumsnet.

I think i'll stay

TheDevilWearsPrimark · 01/05/2008 17:05
