Does anyone else get the feeling like your whole body is vibrating- kind of like a toothbrush vibration?

Drearycommuter · 19/12/2024 22:43

Nope. Is it nice?

Avaricii · 19/12/2024 22:43

No. Not at all.

Have you gone to the doctors? I’ve never heard a friend saying they’ve felt like this before either tbh.

Avaricii · 19/12/2024 22:45

Feels a bit like I've been connected to a battery.

No. I don't think I'll get an app before Christmas. Got one coming up in January for unrelated stuff so will ask then. Just feels weird and unsettling.

Could try 111 if you’re worried. Hope it passes

comedycentral · 19/12/2024 22:58

Sounds neurological maybe, how long has it been going on for?

SlowlyGainingConfidence · 19/12/2024 23:02

Yes! It's an anxiety effect for me, first happened a couple years ago when I had a period of major anxiety and now happens every so often if I am a bit anxious

Godfreydahling · 19/12/2024 23:05

Yes. It's called internal tremor and is a physical symptom of anxiety. Nothing to worry about. It's just too much adrenaline in your body so your body kind of buzzes to try to burn it off. I get it lying in bed and it feels like someone has plugged the bed into a vibration plate!

Same here. I get it sometimes and I have anxiety.

biscuitsandbooks · 19/12/2024 23:19

Yes, I have - it's anxiety related. Never lasts long but always feels very odd!

JingleB · 19/12/2024 23:20

Sometimes. I don't let it worry me.

Avaricii · 20/12/2024 18:28

Ah yeah that makes sense. Having it is making my anxiety worse so it's a but Catch22.
Don't have it today for the 1st time in a week and that's probably because I had the day off...

I haven't drunk caffeinated coffee for ten years. I started again this summer and this was one of the unpleasant side effects.
