Hi lovely people

I would love to pick your brains..
we are looking for a venue which can do a wedding for 20 people. Our main requirement is being in a beautiful landscape because we love nature.

for this we would likely need to travel a few hours and so have been looking at packages to where guests can get accommodation on site or accommodation available nearby.
so far we love Cragwood at Windermere, but does anyone know any other places to visit?

requirements:
20 people
not in a huge hotel - ie a venue suited to the size of our wedding
Good food - if a package then we are wanting options for different people or we would hire food in
option for outdoor ceremony
Hopefully including accommodation for all

now is it reasonable to find this for under 10k?

thanks so much

Someone I know got married here - I'm not sure if it's too big for you but I know they said the prices were very reasonable.

Have you looked on holiday home websites - maybe look at hiring a large house for a couple of nights and get outside caterers/a celebrant for the ceremony etc?

Tunnels beaches or Le Manoir

Went to a wedding here. They had a marquee outside. Ceremony took place 2 mins down the road in a hotel :)

Scotland.

Simple as. Multiple venues, in beautiful locations, some really gorgeous places, a friend of mine got married at Kenmore Hotel, which has its own little "village" of houses where guests can stay, as well as the hotel. Married on the loch, amazing 👏

I've not been to a wedding here, but I've stayed at the farm and seen the wedding facilities.

It's really gorgeous, and the staff are so amazingly helpful.

I've been to a wedding here, you can have the ceremony in the living room and there's enough rooms to accommodate everyone.

We went to a wedding here years ago and it was beautiful - not sure if they cater for small numbers though!

They are way over £10k

Oxwich Bay Hotel however is perfect for small weddings

Swinton Bivouac | Glamping in the Yorkshire Dales

You could have your wedding in the main house, then your reception in the bivouac or the Deer House and all your guests could stay in the yurts/cabins. The Bivouac's all off-grid - no electricity or wi-fi, which is either your thing or it's not!

The Old Vicarage is small and does lovely food. Not sure how many people can stay on site, but it's got nice views and is near the Peak District.

Oldwalls are stopping doing weddings.

Oxwich is beautiful and does do small weddings but when we looked we were put off by the fact other bigger weddings would be on at the same time.

We used to stay at this hotel frequently. It's just been taken over and the new owners are apparently pouring money into renovation. The food was fantastic, hope the old chef is still there. The views are spectacular. You can have your wedding on the lawn overlooking the bay, or they have a small chapel on site. The turret gardens are beautiful for photos

(unconnected to the wedding, if you love nature it's possible to walk down the cliff, where there's a colony of seals that lives on the rocks at the bottom)
