Finding it impossible to give up vaping

I started smoking very young, under 16

My parents smoked indoors all my childhood. I gave up cigarettes when I was in my 30’s and now in my 40’s and vaped for going on 10 years or so I reckon.

I’ve tried nicotine replacement and it works for a while but I keep going back to vaping. It is so addictive. I’ve never gone back to cigarettes I know it’s not as bad to vape but I still worry about my health so I want to stop.

I really want to stop but I keep cracking and going back. Currently hiding it from everyone as I’ve failed to stop yet again!

I do despair for society especially young people, I don’t know how I got here and now I can’t seem to stop and I can see how easy it is to start and then struggle.

The gum is rank. The patches are terrible. The spray is the best of the bunch but still not infallible

Anyone managed it long term?

I got nicotine free liquid. Removed all the labels from the bottles and 3 bottles of very low nicotine. Without labels the bottles were identical and the same flavour. Then for the next month i didnt know what i was vaping - and felt no difference. So i swapped fully to nicotine free liquid, then i knew it was habit, not addiction, and a month later gave it up entirelyl. That was in 2015.

I gave up cigarettes using the Alan Carr method, would you consider reading his book? It might work for vapes too.

A man I know went on to rollies because he was vaping for hours and hours so at least with the roll ups he had to stop to make them, that’s not the answer either but he said he was vaping non stop every day so he had to do something.

Been vaping a while now. Better of two evils!.
Would love to give up the vape but it is very much so much better than smoking
It's my house so I vape inside and it's a low vape so no big puff the dragon effect
