AIBU not to get a double buggy?

I have a toddler who will be exactly 2 when I have this baby in March 2025 and I am trying to avoid getting a double buggy.
My daughter walks well but will still ask us to carry her.
I am planning to use sling at the beginning for the baby and buggy for my 2 year old for some time and then baby in the buggy with 2 yr old on the buggy board. If we do any longer walks my DH is with us so when I'm alone with kids it will mostly be going to shops with car, playgrounds or toddler groups which I will drive to so planning to use either buggy or a sling for a baby and toddler to walk.

AIBU not to get a double buggy in this case?
We don't have a big car and I can't be bothered with it.
Or you think I will definitely need it?

I absolutely loved my nipper 360 double to the point where I'm planning on using it for my 3rd even though her brother is 3 and won't go in it - it's just a great buggy and somewhere to put your changing bag etc. 😂

Fully agree. And you can always change your mind if you need/want to.
My older kid never bothered with a buggy after 2.5. Loved walking or his scooter. Second looking that way too.

@RabbitsEatPancakes
That's what i thought!
On weekends my DH and I will go for a walk if a weather is nice and as there will be 2 of us and i already have 2 pushchairs anyway, I donr see a point having a double just for those occasions..

if you drive everywhere then no you probably won't need one?

we had a 22 month gap but I walked everywhere and wouldn't have been without my phil and teds.

I got one with a slightly larger age gap, and didn't have to use it often but the times we needed it, we were glad we had it. Before I got it I did a highly scientific survey of all the parents of two children at nursery, and most said they hadn't got one, but wished they had, but by that time there seemed no point. Overall the consensus was that if I had space to put it and a couple of hundred quid available to make my life slightly easier, I might as well do it. I could probably sell it on for what I paid for it, but most likely will give it to my SIL when she inevitably has a second, or donate it to my kids' nursery to take the babies for walks.
