To ask what outfit your perfect man would wear?

AIBU to ask what your perfect man's clothing would be? With as many details as possible please! Maybe also, as this is all for fun, your clothing nightmares.

I personally quite like skinnyish jeans on a guy, otherwise plaid shirts and layers, smartish but hints at outdoorsiness and practicality. Maybe my wildest fantasies could include a fine suit. My nightmare would be tracksuit. Joggers.

I've never seen my husband in a suit 😲

Can't stand waistcoats. Pretentious or what!!

Work trousers….as in electrician, plumber, builder, tree surgeon, I like a man in workwear but obviously if we were going in a date I would want them to look smarter, maybe nice jeans and a shirt.

Agree that jogging bottoms are not good.

My DH looked so hot in a well cut dark suit , cuff links, top two buttons undone , silk tie around his neck .. also undone .. getting changed after work.. I would almost always arrange to have something urgent to tell him at this point - as he was so gorgeous. He knew it and would deliberately take his time getting undressed ..

He is quite poorly now so no more suits but still looks amazing in thick v neck zip arran sweater, clean straight jeans , Chelsea boots and a perfect bit of designer stubble .. I need to go and show him my appreciation 😍

One of those white shirts with puffy sleeves like they used to wear in the 1800s (like in Bridgerton). I have no idea why I find this so attractive. Not sure that DP will be impressed if I buy him one... 😂

My perfect man is my DH and my favourite thing is snuggling up in bed with him. So I guess my answer is nothing.

Well he’s currently wearing a pair of shorts and one sock.

I think its more about the cut and fit of the clothes, than the actual type of clothes, clothes that aren’t properly fitted look awful.

My husband is the man I fantasized about as a grungy teenager. Tall, skinny, covered in shit tattoos, bleach blonde faux hawk. Usually wearing a band T-shirt with the sleeves cut off, slim cut levis and trainers. I fancy him so much

Honestly, work man clothes 😂 ( DH is not a work man or fan of manual labour!).

But even better if he scrubs up nicely in a blue suit, brown shoes and a good belt when needed.

Absolute no is gym bro style tight trousers with bare ankles showing 🤢 and a tight polo with the top button done up or a tracksuit especially when skinny and combined with a patchy beard that makes them look like a rat.

Well fitting jeans/chinos with a nice shirt and a crew neck jumper on top. Nice brown leather chunky boots and a wool coat to finish off.

Or a navy slim fitting suit and white shirt

Used to be completely infused about what he might wear ... until I saw him in his full 'Bonnie Prince Charlie' evening dress kilt.

Nice pair of well fitting jean s & a grey cosy looking thick jumper with a couple of buttons at the neck or a short zip Clean shaven , and smelling of a hint of outside & a subtle aftershave .

I don’t like skinny jeans or trousers. For casual wear, well fitting chinos or trousers. In summer a T-shirt or polo shirt. Stripped or check pattern shirt with a V neck sweater in winter.

You need to teach him about the role X and Y chromosomes play in the sex of a baby and whose 'fault' it is if there are no sons, just to be on the safe side.

Black suit trousers, a pair of boots/ chelsea boots or trainers - I cannot stand loafers or things like that. With a shirt/polo shirt that isn’t boring (so a funky pattern or colour, someone that isn’t afraid to be an individual) and pairing it with a long back coat. I like a man with a moustache and grown out hair, possibly a mullet (but not man bun length). Now I think of it, if you think of an Australian man dressed in a hipster smart fashion! 😂
