Can I claw it back?

Over the past few years I've aged terribly. I'm nearly 40 and it seems to have crept up on me but I also know I haven't looked after myself very well. I have a poor diet, I don't exercise and I drink too much. I have a toddler who co sleeps so don't get much rest and no family help so rarely get time to myself for exercise, grooming etc.

I really do want to make improvements to my looks but more importantly my health. At the moment it's really hard. I can't even get out for a proper dog walk because my toddler can't walk far and hates the buggy. After work there are so many jobs that need doing and I just don't have the motivation for anything else.

Without wishing our lives away I'm looking to a time in the future where dd is a bit bigger and in school and I might maybe be able to get a bit more time back for myself to practice a bit of self care. All aspects of my life feel out of control at the moment, I'm literally winging everything and it shows in my body and my face.

I think what I'm asking is if it's possible to claw it back and make myself look and feel good again? If so, what are your quick wins and absolute non negotiable for your health/self care?

I need to take this advice myself. But drink 2L of water each day. Green tea in the morning. Exercise video at home? Research skincare. Get your hair done. Keep nails groomed.

Start small now .

Plan to go alcohol free in 2025 for the first three months. This will improve your health and skin.
