Friend visit

So, friend lives away but has to come back every so often for child visitation. She has been back and not been in touch to tell me. Found out via social media she was back. I feel the friendship is over, but I don't know why but I want to put a petty face on social media. Should I, or should I just move on?
Aibu - leave it
Ainbu- petty post

I would just leave it, a petty post doesn’t serve anyone other than putting negativity out there. Move on and focus on what you have going on

Mymouseisonfire · 15/12/2024 00:52

Are you 10?

Thunderpants88 · 15/12/2024 00:52

Petty post? What age are you, 13? Wise up

Alalalala · 15/12/2024 00:53

It hurts, but leave it. Just detach. She’s got her own life with her own issues occupying her attention and she isn’t being a friend to you. So, just let her go.

YABU. Obviously ignore it, you'll only make yourself look stupid. Pretend you don't care and move on.

Kitkatcatflap · 15/12/2024 00:54

Instead of a 'petty post' why not text your friend privately with something like 'I saw you have been back for a visit, I hope everything is okay with you and your family - it would have been lovely to see you'.

If she's back for a short Time , she probably has a lot of people to see and not a lot of time? So not personal.
