What size is your room? Does it get much sunlight? Many windows?

Is this what you’re trying to go for? It’s not very exciting. But if that’s what you like I’m sure you can find lots of things that fit the bill.

Look at Apartment Therapy or Houzz for inspiration. Strangers on the Internet shouldn't be telling you what to like your home is unique to you. Use your imagination.

Presumably that's the sort of thing she likes not the state of her living room as it is now.

but stone colour wall panelling could look nice or wallpaper with a natural print through it
