My son came home from school and we got a message that my son has now been moved from triple science to combined science. His whole class has been moved onto combined science.
He’s done me his first set of mocks and he has come out at two sixes (one very nearly a seven) and a 5. His friend in the opposite stream has less and he’s been kept on the triple science. My son has worked extremely hard on improving his science and is making excellent progress but most of all he is developing a passion for the subjects. There was no consultation and his whole class have just been taken off it.
Is this usual? He’s in the top set in his stream.
