12 month really tired despite having naps

Hi,

My 12 month old DD has been quite tired for the past three-ish days. She's waking up and is still yawning like ten minutes later as if she's not slept. Her wake windows are shorter and she just keeps yawning.

She is teething (red cheeks, chewing everything, very irritable and a rise in body temp). Think she may have also caught something from nursery because she's coughing and has a runny nose.

She is responsive during her time awake and will still play with toys but she just keeps rubbing her eyes and yawning.

Should I be worried that she's this tired?

Thanks

I wouldn’t be overly worried if she’s responsive - just like you, she’s probably more tired if she’s under the weather. Let her sleep it off and keep an eye on her being hydrated.

@Skykidsspy thank you. I just hope I'm not missing anything

My eldest (who needs a lot of sleep) had a huge drop in his wake time at 12 months. He's also a winter baby so it seems to coincide with the days getting shorter, we were struggling to keep him awake past 6pm in the evening when his bedtime used to be 7:30! He was waking up very early in the morning but napping 4-5h a day, so there was no real reason for it.

It was a really weird phase, and went away naturally in the summer as we were staying out later.
