to use last years red cabbage

i made a big batch of slow cooker red cabbage for xmas dinner last year, froze some and it is still in the freezer! can i get away with using it for this year?!

My usual trick is to put it in the microwave to heat for Christmas meal and then find it there three days later. I have done this three years running now.

Yes its safe……100% tasty still 🤷‍♀️
but its not like its the main part of the dish so probably go for it and you’ll know for future then too
