Pregnancy test threads

Why are there so many threads on here about pregnancy tests?

If it's positive you get 2 lines, if it's negative you get 1. If the line is a bit faint then it's either an evap or you don't have enough HcG in your system, so test again in a few days.

AIBU to find it a bit annoying the number of people who post pictures of tests asking if everyone thinks they are pregnant or not? They are so simple to read!

(I speak as someone who has had years of fertility treatment so genuinely understand, more than most, the very strong longing to be pregnant and how difficult it is to wait to test... but honestly... pregnancy tests are very simple things!)

I can't say it bothers me. When I was pregnant I used to look at the pregnancy boards and I could understand women wanting their tests validated as it is a very emotional time. Maybe just don't read those threads.

@RokaRogue Yeah I do get the emotional rollercoaster completely, but the pregnancy board is just so cluttered with these pregnancy test 'line eyes' threads!

It's like... surely you can see a line yourself?

If you're feeling emotional or worried why not just post about that, start a conversation about how difficult all the uncertainty is, which we can all relate to?

I don't know, just a niggle but of course, I can just ignore it. Everyone deals in different ways - I totally get that.

Bloody irritating. I don’t read them but they come up in my Active threads.
