I bought a TV for my son for Christmas during Black Friday sales.
2 weeks later, it hasn't arrived. I've called up to find out what was going on: they can't trace it.
I am then told that they will “return the order” and that I have to pay again for another one, while I wait for 7-14 days for my refund from the frst order. I said fine as I wanted to make sure it arrived in time for Christmas. I was told the order had gone through and would arrive the following day. I clarified that it would definitely arrive tomorrow. I arranged a day off work. Still no TV.
This exact scenario happened with a computer last year - I had to pay twice before one eventually arrived.
Has anyone else experienced this? Is this Very’s standard way of service or am I just incredibly unlucky that its happened to me twice, two years running, leading up to Christmas?
