Listen up MNHQ you should provide all us dedicated followers with them for such situations, free advertising, no?

I was in a pub garden on saturday, a leetle tipsy and waiting to meet up with a friend.
I noseyedinto overheard a conversation between two mothers with babies, about how hard it this mothering malarkey is , and one of them said she can't get along with people at the mother and baby group etc etc.

I instantly thought, they neeeed mumsnet.

So on my way out I handed them a scrap of paper with the url on it and told them I find it invaluable.

I hope I didn't make a tit of myself.

Fimbo · 30/04/2008 15:51

I never tell people about MN - I like to keep to myself and be anon. Not even my closest friends know I use it. Dh thinks its a bunch of woman chatting about shoes all day long

So we need to look out for a thread started by a someone saying "I was given the name of this place by some mad drunken woman in a pub"

TheDevilWearsPrimark · 30/04/2008 16:04

The first rule of mumsnet is, you do not talk about mumsnet.
The second rule of mumsnet is you DO NOT talk about mumsnet.

the third rule of mumsnet is only talk about it to strangers in pubs when you are pissed.....

lol saltire I did wonder.

''Am I being unreasonable to be pissed off at this woman in the pub who clearly thought I lacked parenting skills''
