To find this top slightly odd ...

My mother has bought DD2 a top with Miffy and her friend on the front. Nothing wrong with that - I love Miffy.

But in the picture, the two bunnies are lifting their skirts up to show their knickers.

I know little kids do that (in fact DD2 is always flashing people so it's quite appropriate really . But it's also something I don't go out of my way to encourage, and it seems an ever-so-slightly-weird thing to put on a child's T-shirt.

Or am I being ridiculous??!?!?!

(DD2 is 3).

Ooh, just seen the pic - how funny...

(and that is funny in an odd way, not funny in a haha cute way)

Aw - DD2 has just found the top, where I left it after I took the pic.

"Look mum - Miffy is getting ready for swimming"

Ah - that explains it, then.

at your dd2, Smith.

SlartyBartFast · 30/04/2008 14:17

do you know where your mum got it?

stealthsquiggle · 30/04/2008 14:29

Hmm - now all you need to do is to work out how to attach a "Miffy getting ready for swimming" caption before she wears it!

DaDaDa · 30/04/2008 14:34

Felt tip some goggles on Miffy. Job done.

That actually made me really sad that your DD naturally came up with an innocent take on it, while we are all being prurient.

Smithagain · 30/04/2008 14:43

Me too DaDaDa - but I do need to decide whether to dress her in it.

And given that no-one here is saying "don't be ridiculous, it's perfectly OK" I think it's going to have to be "mislaid".

No, would definatly be losing that top, if it were me!

hippipotami · 30/04/2008 15:57

I would be losing it too I'm afraid.

how sweet that your DD thinks she's getting dressed for swimming. I'd quietly loose it!!
