To think I have any chance of getting a Tesco slot for the 23rd/24th?

I’m away from the 12th - 23rd and will be spending Christmas by myself. I’d love to have a Tesco delivery for when I’m back, but I’ve checked and all the slots are full. I know I missed the boat when the Christmas slots were released in November, but I’m wondering if it’s worth keeping an eye on it in case of cancellations?

There’s no point getting anything now because it won’t be fresh when I’m back. So, should I keep refreshing the page in hope, or just accept that I’ll have to brave the store when I return? Has anyone ever managed to snag a slot at the last minute this close to Christmas?

Tesco don't generally offer slots for the 24th (although they are trialling it in some stores this year). It's definitely worth keeping checking - some people book slots but their plans change. No guarantee, but keep looking. I managed to get one this year after they had all sold out, so it's not impossible.

No I don't think you will get a slot. Just go early on the 24th, I normally go then around 7.30 and it's always fine

If just go and be outside the supermarket a few mins before it opens

Yes as I booked one, and i’ll be releasing it closer to time as i’m now going away (will wait until a couple of days before incase my plans change)

I just looked and there’s quite a few slots now! They must have just released them?

Ive booked for the 23rd, I return from holiday really early in the morning, so this works perfectly. Really pleased. Thank you everyone :)
