Just that really, there is a little bit of an age gap between DP and I but I seem to want to stay in much more, can’t be bothered going out, happy with IPad and TV.

DP wants to go much more, shops, films, movies, restaurants etc….

At what age did you reach when the idea of ‘going out’ becomes too much of a chore and you prefer a cup of hot chocolate and watching tv, or doing little things around the house?

It happened to me in peri, so around 50, but it was lockdown time too so not sure if that’s relevant. How old are you?

I'm in my early 50s and quite happy staying in most of the time! I no longer enjoy going places that are crowded/noisy and involves a lot of travel. Are you saying DH is younger than you? Perhaps it's a case of reaching a compromise, going out for dinner/cinema once or twice a week and staying in other times? Otherwise you could end up living separate lives 🫤
