I am a good few yrs past menopause, but fortuitously haven't experienced a weight change (yet!).
All's well and good I eat pretty healthy and am active, and have somehow remained within the same weight range for yrs.
But, I seem to fluctuate between sizes as a matter of course.
So say I am a 10, I will gain 4 or so pounds through the year and suddenly be a 12.
Then, for no reason I am aware of, I will lose it again and go back to a 10.
This is an issue because for me, that slight variation puts me between sizes, and the trousers I wore 2 months ago are either too tight or too big.
Is this common? I don't change anything, but this variation has just been with me all of my life, and it has made clothing purchases a true pain in the arse.
Right now I am in the dipping down stage, even though my habits have not changed. I am once again in the 10 range, so a good portion of my wardrobe is baggy.
Maybe it's just me and I have an odd body, but these slight changes do translate to a new clothing size. It bothers me as I can't trust buying something now, and never know what to go for.
It would be ideal if there was a size '10.5', so that I could permanently stay in between and comfy.
Please tell me his isn't just me?
