Not unreasonable to think it should mean he's over, but he won't be, even if he doesn't fight (he wasnt fighting for a while before this) he will still continue to amass wealth through many other means and reap the rewards of wealth and fame (and probably have women throw themselves at him even in front of his wife, or rape them if they don't)
