To ask for your help with Outlook

I've had the same (Hotmail) address/account since the age of 22 and I'm now 50. I have no more storage, meaning that I cannot send emails. At the moment I am still receiving them - not for long - but any sent ones go straight in the drafts folder.
I've been trying to delete stuff to create more space but for the life of me, cannot see how to do this without manually deleting individual emails. What I need is to bulk delete. It's really frustrating.
Can anyone please help? Admittedly I'm no IT guru but genuinely can't see how to do it. Google is no help, since the suggestions don't work on my account.

The cynic in me wonders if they make it difficult so you'll purchase more storage

So you're trying to bulk delete from outlook?

I don't understand - do you need help with Hotmail, or Outlook? But in any case, sort the emails by file size or by attachment and delete the biggest ones. That will free up storage space and give you time to deal with the rest.

You need to do it from a web browser not the 'app'. Easiest way I have found is to go to the 'search' icon and put in e.g. 'rightmove' in my case this brings up hundreds of emails.....click on one of the circled initials on the left, then you will see the words 'select all' appear at the top. You just have to hit delete...the bin icon at bottom of page then.

Exactly. I was just returning to say this, since none of the above works on the app, or indeed my phone.
I'll see if I can remember my password and do it from my desktop computer at work tomorrow 😩
