UC review anyone had this?!

Hi all I’ve had a message on journal regarding review they want 4 months bank statements
and photo ID and pic of me holding my ID
which I have sent it all of to them
I’m just worried now as I didn’t declare my rent increasing last year they can only pay the LHA and I did speak to someone in the job centre a while back and the lady said well it wouldn’t matter as we can’t pay it all anyway I pay the top up so that should be fine and I also didn’t tell them I was receiving pip ? Should I have done this ?
just worried now incase it effects my review
they said I’ll hear back in 7 days time
if anyone has had one what are they like and how long are you on the phone to them for ?
I wasn’t sure if they wanted 4 months worth of saving statements I just sent my current ones over it’s fine if they want them I have nothing to hide I’m just worried about now saying anything about my rent and pip ? Xx

Sounds like you may have been underpaid so I wouldn’t worry too much

I had the same did what they asked and heard nothing back at all. They will know if uou get pip if they ask then tell them you get pip.
I get pip all I had to do is send 4 month statements and a pic of a very out of date passport as that's all I have. They wouldn't accept blue badge as id

Uou don't go on phone you just send them the details by online uc account . Think they are doing reviews of everyone

As above, they usually know you receive PIP.

. They will need statements of any current, savings, stocks, shares or other account, so send copies of everything you have. They need to know that when added all together, they have the correct amount of capital.

Very nice man called me asked a few questions turns out my savings account statements hadn't uploaded so we fixed that and I had to send my PayPal statements off also about five weeks later I got a message saying everything is fine your good to go they didn't stop payments literally nothing changed

I never even got a call i just sent details as asked and heard nothing more

It was quite funny because he said so it's just the one account no savings you have declared everything (casual tones) I said one plus my savings it should all be in there together one file (casually) later on my friend pointed out they were probably trying to catch me out "not declaring savings" but I declared that account when I started UC so it would have been pointless really

@HomeEdIdea what do you mean under paid cos of my rent ? I only thought I was aloud to get my lha ?
@Littlemissgobby oh really so know one called you? That’s good I heard they ring ppl and go through all the bank statements etc with them

I have also managed to find my ID now I have sent all bank statements off and ID not heard anything back as of yet so I’ll wait and see what happens next x

Now they have just gotten back to me and asked me to check code to them for my driving licence which I have but not sure why they would need that when I have sent my driving licence already to them ?

You should have sent savings statements also, not just current account. If you have £6k or more in total across your (and partner, if you have one) savings it affects amount you are paid.

@redalex261 hi they haven’t asked for them as of yet so once they do I will send that over to them
I have left msg on my journal to say I will send them over if they would need them .
still waiting a reply also I don’t have over 6K in savings but when I looked at 2 of my statements it says total debts £6046.16 but then says closing balance is £154.00 no one has ever put money in my Acc nor have I ever sent anyone money the only money I receive is pip and DLA for my two children and I pay the top ups to my rent which I have done for the last 2 years I did mention in my previous msg I didn’t notify them about my rent increase as I thought they can only pay the maximum LHA so I’d have to pay anyway it’s not something they will be able to help with .

Also jus seen now they messsged and said they have received everything from me and there’s nothing else to do and just wait for them to get back to me how long does this whole process take I’ve heard some says weeks and months but I just can’t deal with all the waiting !
