My DB in 60’s retired met a woman on a dating site several years ago. He had sold a business and was fairly comfortable in his home owned outright.
DB has one adult daughter, his wife deceased.
Girlfriend whom he met on dating site gave up job moved to several others usually suffering from some minor illness, or job did not work out, she has estranged relationship with only child. She then gave up rented flat moving to another property which got flooded as no heated has been on. Then moved in with him while property repaired. It then got flooded again! She then moved in with him permanently, works sporadically agency in minimal wage job.
Holidays with brother include Thailand, India, Greece and Japan.
DB daughter has a serious illness recently diagnosed yet they were still going to go on a 4 week holiday until a relative stepped in and advised to claim travel insurance and cancel.
AIBU to think they are being totally selfish, I am not getting good vibes about the relationship and feel my DB is being used.
